Welcome to American Pie Chat. This help page will tell you the different functions of this program. Click on the links below for help and explanations for that topic.

Chat Center

The red arrows on the top of the page are your page back and page forward controls.

If you look at the left control panel near the top you will find two icons. The first one is a refresh control. Click on the icon and it will refresh or reload the page to when you first entered the control center. The second is a print icon. Click on it and it will print what is in the center of the page (ie. what you are reading now). You can use this to print out chat sessions that are in the chat archives or whatever you would like to print.

Chat Rooms

Click on the "chat rooms" link to choose which chat room you would like to enter. Once you are inside a chat room you will see another link for a help file that has instructions for that chat room.

Reserve Name

Click on the "reserve name" link if you want to reserve and protect your chat room name. This is optional. You do not have to reserve a name to use the chat rooms, however it is a good idea to reserve your name so no one else can use it.

Delete Name

Click on the "delete name" link to delete the chat name you reserved.

Click on the "chat archives" link to view and/or print all the available chat sessions.
